Pop Warner, now celebrating more than 70 years, is the only National Youth Football and Cheerleading Program in the United States. More than 300,000 kids, 35,000 coaches, and 750,000 plus parents and friends are a part of Pop Warner. It is estimated that more than 3+ million volunteers and supporters nationwide follow Pop Warner.
Pop Warner participants range in age from five to fifteen, with the majority in the eight to thirteen year old age range. Flag and tackle football, cheerleading, and dance programs can be found in thirty-eight states and in Mexico, Russia, and Japan.
Pop Warner is the only national youth sports organization that emphasizes academic excellence. Athletes must demonstrate satisfactory classroom progress each year before they are allowed to compete.
Keeping the program safe and fun for all participants is among Pop Warner's highest priorities. Pop Warner provides the only national youth football program rulebook, to assure consistency and safety.
